  1. # Cefoxitin disc was used to determine methicillin susceptibility.
  2. * Only 696 urinary E. coli isolates were tested.
  3. § MIC distribution for the Streptococcus pneumoniae isolates was as follows:
    Penicillin IV (non-meningitis breakpoints): sensitive ≤2 mg/L (99%, 159/160), intermediate 4 mg/L (1%, 1/160).
    Cefotaxime (non-meningitis breakpoints): sensitive ≤1 mg/L (97%, 154/158), intermediate 2 mg/L (3%, 4/158).
Indicated 10% or more increase in non-susceptibility rate compared to 2016.
Indicated 10% or more reduction in non-susceptibility rate compared to 2016.
